Currant Magazine was founded by Igrien Yin Liu, a visual artist, creative director and writer based in the Netherlands.

‍"I want to break free from the traditional mould of magazine making. Having impactful and artistic stories as our driving force, we aim to lead the way in a new age of magazine making and storytelling. And as the first bicultural artistic magazine publisher in the Netherlands, I trust my vision and voice will add something new and refreshing to the magazine landscape.
