Plein Air — Radiant glow

Hermès introduces the new Plein Air collection, a beauty collection that embraces the open air and the effortless beauty that goes with it. The philosophy is that with light and air comes a natural and graceful beauty — a philosophy we couldn't agree more with.

The new Radiant Glow powder is one of the items from the Plein Air collection. The powder is meant to enhance the complexion with a luminous radiance that shines naturally. Applying the glow powder on bare skin, we find it adds a subtle luminosity to the skin. It's not a highlighter that pops (and it's not meant to either) but rather a radiance enhancer on the skin, bringing a natural light to the face. Applying the glow powder on the new complexion balm (below), the skin gets an elegant radiance. The powder itself feels silky smooth and refined. For a healthy natural glow, apply it on the cheekbones, temples and the bridge of your nose — and a light touch on your Cupid's bow.

The powder comes in a round white and gold case designed by Pierre Hardy and is refillable as well. The compact size is easy to carry with you in your every-day makeup bag.

Plein Air — Complexion balm

With the new Plein Air collection, Hermès introduces their new complexion balm. The balm is a sheer balm that is used on the face to enhance the natural skin and even out the complexion. This all adds into the philosophy of enhancing rather than covering up the skin. The complexion balm is not a foundation nor is it a tinted moisturiser; but rather a balm that melts into the skin and hydrates, protects and enhances the skin at the same time. It combines makeup and skincare properties into one — a trend we predict is likely to stay.

The complexion balm comes in twelve translucent shades that adapt to two to three skin tones. We tried out the shade Sable, which is a light beige with a warm undertone. The complexion balm feels weightless and looks natural on the skin. It applies sheer but buildable — but not to the point of actually covering up the whole skin, which is also not the beauty philosophy of the brand. Instead, with this complexion balm on, you feel like empowered with a natural and health looking skin. The balm is lightly scented, with a blend of sandalwood and green tea, a scent created by Christine Nagel — overall leaving your skin feeling beautiful and elegant.

We're all for embracing our natural beauty at the moment and the new Plein Air collection couldn't have arrived at a better time.

Plein Air — Powder brush

The new Plein Air collection comes with a powder brush, in a contemporary three-colored design by Pierre Hardy.

This brush applies powders in just the right amount, adding a natural veil over the face. The brush is tapered, making it easy to adapt to your face shape and target specific areas and fluffy enough to apply an even amount all over.

We recommend using the brush with the Radiant Glow powder (above).

Plein Air — Blotting Papers

Finally, the Plein Air collection includes blotting papers. This orange box is going to be a must-have in your purse this Spring. The box comes with a set of 100 blotting papers to mattify your skin.

We all know how easily our skin builds up oils when temperatures rise. And sometimes a powder isn't what you're looking for when you want to keep your look natural. These Plein Air blotting papers are inspired by Japanese culture and are the perfect way to touch up on any beauty look during the day.

The papers are made by hemp fibers, wood pulp and soft kozo fibers from the Japanese paper mulberry tree and are engraved with the signature H stamp.

Rouge Hermès

When Hermès first launched their beauty collection back in 2020, it had the industry in a frenzy. And not just the beauty industry – fashion lovers were lining up to get a shade of their own, packaged in Pierre Hardy's sleek design and wrapped up in the brand's orange box. Now, two years later, we're still lusting over the brand's beauty selection.

For Spring 2022, the brand is expanding their Rouge Hermès lipsticks with three new shades.

Beige d'Eau – a soft and warm beige. This is a stunning shade of tanned beige.
Orange Capucine – a luminous rosy orange, the perfect prelude to Spring.
Rose Numphéa – a delicate pink with just a hint of lilac for vibrancy.

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
