Perched on the 21st floor of the Ruby Emma Hotel, Ventuno Skylounge offers a dining experience that combines breathtaking views of Amsterdam with exquisite Italian-American cuisine. This stylish and sophisticated venue draws inspiration from the vibrant eateries of early 20th-century New York, seamlessly blended with modern Dutch influences. A symphony of flavors

Our dining experience at Ventuno began with the wagyu carpaccio. Delicately thin slices of the finest A5 wagyu beef were artfully presented, showcasing its exquisite marbling and inherent flavors—absolutely phenomenal. Next, we enjoyed the lemon crisp calamari, featuring perfectly fried squid rings with a lovely homemade lemon dip (we need the recipe). The lobster spaghetti was another highlight, featuring spaghetti in a creamy lobster sauce with a beautifully charred half lobster cooked to perfection. We've had many lobster pasta dishes recently, and, though they were all incredible, the char on this one made it a winner for us.

For the meat lovers, the tagliata, a grilled rib-eye with parmesan and 20-year-old balsamic vinegar, was sheer perfection on a plate—I daresay the best meat dish we've ever had. It was succulent, meaty, flavorful, and just beautifully grilled. Finishing our meal, we indulged in the espresso tiramisu, a delightful fusion of rich coffee, sweet dulce de leche, and smooth mascarpone cream layered to perfection—a perfect ending note. The chocolate cigar, with its essence of smoked tea and vanilla paired with decadent chocolate mousse, provided a beautiful smoky surprise.
