The menu
The menu showcases a diverse array of dishes that highlight the best of Mediterranean flavours with modern twists. Our meal began with the Fikissimo oysters, which were fresh and light, perfectly complemented by citrus oil, sundried tomato, and ikura. The seabass carpaccio with truffle and citrus sauce was a deliciously refined starter. Our highlight though was the tuna fire cubes, featuring seared tuna with a stunning combination of truffle sauce, sweet chili, green onions, and sesame seeds—a stunning start of the evening.
We move on to the mains. The black truffle Risotto was a creamy, decadent delight, rich with acid butter and aged Parmesan, and easily our favourite dish of the evening. Risotto is a notoriously technical dish that requires precise timing and technique to achieve the perfect creamy consistency, a feat that even many restaurants struggle to deliver flawlessly. Here it was just perfect. We also enjoy the marinated rib-eye, served with a cress salad and daily sauce—seared beautifully. To top it off, we indulge in the Fikissimo rolls, a deliciously winning combination of salmon, mayo, avocado, truffle cream, tempura prawns, and amberjack (we'd come back for these rolls alone—they were that good).
We end our meal with the restaurant's delicious homemade tiramisu, the perfect sweet finish to any dinner.
